Meet Meleni! This gorgeous lady is a 2022 Melba High School Senior, she plans on pursuing her education at BSU with the hopes of encouraging and motivating others to be a better version of themselves through her career. This girl is going places!
For her senior session Meleni wanted both some city/urban looks since that better reflected her style, but she also wanted to pay tribute to her home town of Melba by incorporating some country/rural backgrounds as well.
What we didn’t know is how we would be battling a crazy storm in the middle of her session! And I know every photographer talks about the weather when recapping sessions (because hey writing profound things all the time is hard ok?! 😉), but when I tell you this girl went through it during her session…she went THOUGH it! I was tested in my camera skills and these gorgeous images show just how amazing Meleni looks no matter what situation she is in!
Let’s start with highlights from her first outfit and a few Q&A’s:
What is your definition of true beauty? “True beauty is not how you look, but the confidence, comfort, and security you have within yourself!”
What has been one of your FAVE high school memories? “The loudness and crazy spirit we have at every basketball and football games!”
Best advice you’ve ever been given? “There’s no growth in the place you stay comfortable in. You have to get out of it, and keeping going and keep expanding. That’s how empires are built. Nations are built this way. You have to cross your boundary. When you do so, life smiles at you, and aligns in your path everything that you need to keep going.”
I mean when I tell you I’m OBSESSED with her entire session, Meleni you look stunning and were such a pleasure to work with!

She always finds a way to make yourself feel confident behind the camera and provides a sense of comfort. Michelle is such a professional in photography, and her passion for her job just shines through when you’re with her. I felt very fortunate to be a part of Street Team and experience working with Michelle for my senior pictures. I loved every single picture she took of me and I will cherish these pictures forever.”
